Making a splash
Yesterday, Mr Wee told us that RI people wake up in the morning, eat breakfast, mug, eat lunch, mug, eat dinner, mug, sleep. Told us to have fun and enjoy the next day. And wow, I had a great day climbing onto rooftops today!!! Here are the highlights of the day:
10:30am-- Stone, talked to benjo and wei lun(on the phone) about Coke
11am-- Cut a nice rain coat from a rubbish bag.
11:50-12+++: Save the rocket!
Description: Rocket flew 40m from Raffles Green to the junior blog second story just under the window ledge..
Mission: Safe the rocket!
Step 1: Tried climbing up the ladder onto the junior block walkway roof. Unfortunately Mrs Maas walked past and stared at me, had to get down...
Step 2: Took a broom and walked up to the second story to try and hit the bottle off. But the broom was too short. So tried climbing out of the window onto the ledge but unfortunately got scolded by a teacher inside 1M because they were having
an exam and apparently they do not have the discipline to refrain from looking at monkies.
Step 3: Went down to get a longer mop-like thing. Tried again, from the same window, and got scolded by Maas and that teacher...Haiz
Step 4: Wait for helpful person to come by. An Indian man came, and climbed out of the window. Helped us retrieve our rocket. Ok, he didnt get scolded, but why???
The day went by with similiar accidents.
My rocket flew onto the fourth story roof twice and the fifth story ledger once.
Yun fei's and Leonard's rocket flew onto fourth story roof a few times also.
Our rocket heads got stuck the most, we went home with 1/3 head, because the security guards were bitching about us and went to lock up the stairs.
Leonard's rocket body went into boarding's roof, and it was only through an act of god that the rocket body came back, quite surprising to see your rocket dropped back after spending damn long trying to think of a way to get it back down...His head though, went up into the leaves i think.
But one thing i learnt is that I am a bit scared of heights. When the rocket went onto the scary, narrow fifth story ledger, i didnt dare to climb down and had to use leonard's rocket to hit the thing back down onto the fourth story roof.
And the mud! Yeah man so fun. I got totally covered in mud, might upload a few pictures...
Finally, we ended the day by blasting a small bottle all the way up seven floors i think...
What an enjoyable day. I heeded Mr Wee's advice to take the day off!
